Getting started

Early Access period — this guide is under active development. Missing sections will be completed soon.

PratikYedek works on three clients:

• Web (app.pratikyedek.com) — small file backup/restore + admin panel
• Desktop (Windows / macOS / Linux) — copy-based backup of large folders
• Mobile — gallery, contacts, SMS backup (Phase 4)

1. Create an account

1. Go to app.pratikyedek.com/kayit.
2. Choose account type:
   • Individual — for your own files (BYOS enabled)
   • Family — up to 5 users, shared (BYOS enabled)
   • Tax Advisor — for your own taxpayers (no BYOS; KVKK § 6.3 + Turkish Commercial Code (TTK) art. 82)
   • SME / Enterprise — for business records
3. Enter email + password + phone (Turkish format).
4. Click the email verification link.
5. (Recommended) Set up 2FA — TOTP.

2. First backup

Go to the client you need:

• Desktop installation + first backup
• First backup via web

3. Restore

Filming is performed by Berhan before Phase 4. The storyboard below is approved.

Scene 1 (0:00 – 0:30) — "Why PratikYedek?"

• Cold open: a small business desk, e-Ledger (e-Defter), cash reports
• Voice (Berhan): "If your computer is stolen, your disk fails, or ransomware encrypts everything — as a Turkish taxpayer you may spend years recovering. PratikYedek exists for exactly this."
• Logo + tagline transition

Scene 2 (0:30 – 1:30) — "KVKK + Turkey"

• Map: data stays within Turkey's borders
• "Your data is encrypted on your device; not even the server admin can read it"
• Lock icon → server icon → "the key is with you"
• AES-256-GCM + Argon2id terms briefly visible

Scene 3 (1:30 – 2:30) — "Tax advisor flow"

• Login as advisor
• Taxpayer list → taxpayer detail → tax audit share mode (OTP link for inspector)
• Taxpayer transfer screen (zip + Ed25519 signature)

Scene 4 (2:30 – 3:30) — "BYOS — your own storage"

• Individual plan
• Storage settings → "Connect Google Drive" → OAuth consent screen
• Storage backend list → Google Drive default
• Start backup → data flows to user's Google Drive

Scene 5 (3:30 – 4:30) — "Restore"

• New device scenario
• Login → "My backups" → choose date
• Download → local decryption → original folder

Scene 6 (4:30 – 5:00) — "Closing"

• Early Access invitation: 30-day free tax advisor trial
• Web + desktop download links
• "support@pratikyedek.com — or invite a tax advisor you know"

Total: ~5 min; covers individual + tax advisor + BYOS + restore flows.
