Refund and Withdrawal

B2C — Individual user (14-day withdrawal)

Under Consumer Protection Law (TKHK) Art.48, individual users are entitled to a 14-day withdrawal right in distance contracts.

Conditions

  • Account must be opened as individual (not B2B)
  • Application within 14 calendar days from the first payment date
  • Withdrawal request must be in writing (email) → destek@pratikyedek.com
  • The word "withdrawal" must be explicitly stated; contract number must be specified

Refund process

  1. Your request is answered within 24h
  2. After approval, refund to your payment method within 14 days (via the same PaynKolay/iyzico/PayTR channel)
  3. Full refund including VAT
  4. After refund confirmation, your account enters the deletion procedure (KVKK Art.11/e)

Exceptions

  • If service has been used (backup taken), partial refund — pro-rata per used day
  • Early Access period (30-day free) is already free; withdrawal does not apply

B2B — SMB / Tax advisor / Enterprise

Under TTK Art.18, contracts made as a merchant are not subject to withdrawal rights. However, PratikYedek voluntarily:

Satisfaction guarantee (30 days)

  • If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days, full refund
  • No reason required
  • Pro-rata refund of remaining months for annual payment (e.g., 12-month payment, 3 months used → 9 months refund)

Exception

  • Already free if started with an Early Access code
  • No B2B refund after 30 days (commitment continues)

KVKK Art. 11/e — Data deletion request

What happens to your data after withdrawal + refund?

  1. Soft delete — Account deactivated; user access closed
  2. Grace period (30 days) — User can optionally reopen the account
  3. Hard delete — After 30 days, all chunks are irreversibly deleted (from storage + audit log PII fields anonymized)
  4. Audit evidence — The deletion operation itself is kept in the audit log for 7-10 years (as KVKK Art.12 evidence), but PII is removed from content

Retention_locked exception

If a tax inspection is ongoing in your account or legal proceedings exist, the retention_locked flag prevents deletion. Deletion is triggered automatically when the process ends.

The refund time is not the process between the bank and PratikYedek — it is your bank's reflection time on your card.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download my backup files after withdrawal + refund? Yes — within the 30-day grace period before hard delete is triggered, you can download all your backups. Even if the account is deactivated, the export link remains open.

Can I get a refund without deleting my account? If you use B2C withdrawal right, the account is deleted under KVKK Art.11/e (withdrawal means the contract is considered void from the beginning). If you use B2B satisfaction guarantee, you can keep the account active (refund only).

I paid annually, can I get a refund after 3 months? B2C: 14 days passed, no withdrawal right. Satisfaction guarantee is B2B-specific. B2B: Yes, possible during the 30-day satisfaction guarantee. After 30 days, commitment continues.

Will the e-Archive invoice be canceled and reissued? Yes. After withdrawal approval, a refund invoice is issued; sent to GİB. Your tax advisor processes this.
